Pastor Will completed his Masters of Divinity at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in the Spring of 2017.  He also has an undergraduate degree in music education from the University of Illinois.  He spent two years as a student pastor at Green Valley First United Methodist Church during his time at school.  From 2012-2015 he worked as the Faith Development Director at Pontiac First UMC and from 2007-2012 he was the Director of Music Ministries at Crossroads United Methodist Church.  His wife Joy is a social worker with the Order of St. Francis in Peoria.  They have two children, Ben (age 17) and Hayden (age 14).  He believes that he is called to pastor to the entire community of Washburn, not just the church members that attend regularly.
